HARTING`s compact yet powerful edge computing system MICA (Modular Industrial Computing Architecture) now offers wireless functionality. HARTING teamed with Arrow Electronics, a member of the MICA.network, to develop the MICA Wireless Sensor Networks solution that adds wireless communications to the machine-monitoring system.
B&R’s entry into the machine vision market is led by two camera variants: Smart Sensor and Smart Camera. Since the hardware is fully integrated in the automation system, the cameras can be synchronized to machine functions with microsecond precision.
The digital transformation of engineering continues advancing. As part of its cloud services, Eplan is presenting a new service for cross-project collaboration – Eplan eManage – which lets users upload Eplan Platform projects into the cloud environment and share and work on them there.
Switches perform central tasks in networks. As intelligent infrastructure components, they read incoming data and forward it to the port with the corresponding receiver. Murrelektronik’s IP20 Managed Switches allow Ethernet devices communicate with each other via network connections.
The standalone base unit is extremely compact at just 22.5 mm width. With eight freely configurable safe inputs and four safe semiconductor outputs, it monitors up to four safety functions on machines. Depending on the application, it can be used to implement safety requirements up to PL e of EN ISO 13849-1 and SIL CL 3 of EN IEC 62061. PNOZ m C0 is safe, high-performance and highly economical for small machines in a range of industries and application areas, such as packaging, on robot cells or in the food and beverage sector.
The first tri-mode (dual-cell/satellite) option to deliver on complete connectivity. From on-site services to remote office needs, M-LINK provides access, reliability and insight to your fleet and application. M-LINK’s dual cellular modem also ensures broadband field connectivity for your workforce with a Wi-Fi hotspot.
