JMP Solutions Achieves Second RIA Certification for Robot Solutions

October 30, 2018

JMP Solutions recently announced that it has for the second time achieved the prestigious Certified Robot Integrator designation from the Robotic Industries Association (RIA). The RIA Certified Robot Integrator program was established in 2012 in response to an industry need for a benchmark for evaluating technical and robot safety acumen, as well as overall integrator business excellence.

“We are thrilled to be among the best certified robotic system integrators,” said Ken McLaughlin, General Manager of JMP’s Automation & Robotics Division. “Our certification is a testament to the effort we have made, and continue to make, to consistently be a leader in our field and redefining what is possible for our customers. We are very proud of our many JMP employees who are Certified Expert Robot Technologists.”

JMP’s robotic solutions include experience across industries such as Food Packaging, Consumer Goods Packaging, Metals – Tube and Pipe, and select Automotive.

Founded in 1974, RIA is the only trade group in North America organized specifically to serve the robotics industry. To become an RIA Certified Robot Integrator, JMP was subject to a rigorous process that included an on-site audit of its business processes, technical expertise, sales support and project management. JMP is one of only 29 system integrators to have achieved this certification since 2012.

RIA certification ensures that robot integrators who have successfully completed the program possess the capabilities at a very high level to deliver robotic products, systems and services that are safe, reliable, and of good quality. Robot Integrators must achieve a high level of proficiency, experience and success to be considered for the certification program and must re-certify every two years.

“This certification gives JMP access to the RIA process and keeps the company in front of all certification changes and standards. It also allows us to differentiate ourselves and show that we’re validated at expert level,” McLaughlin continued.

“We are thrilled to once again add this industry certification to our existing list of technical and application certifications that we have achieved. We are only one of 53 System Integrators in North America that are a Fanuc Authorized System Integrator, Rockwell Automation Solution Partner, RIA certified and CSIA certified” said Steve Szamocki, Executive Vice President, Sales & Marketing.
