Balluff: Light Bands in Diverse Lengths

Balluff’s BOH light bands are available in many different lengths from 10 to 300 mm. This means you can choose just the right band length for your individual application. The compact design of the light bands allows you integrate the sensor heads perfectly into tight mounting spaces in machines and on production lines. In addition, its usable working distance from 10 to 500 mm lets you cover large areas with the light bands. For example, you can use them for small parts detection while saving installation space or as ejection monitors over a very large area.
Depending on your requirements you can choose from among analog amplifiers, switching amplifiers or dynamic amplifiers.
BAE analog amplifiers
With a BAE analog amplifier, you can use the full signal range in your application. The output curves of our light bands also feature high linearity, so that the signal can be precisely controlled. (BAE00N6, BAE00N4, BAE00N5, BAE00NH)
BAE switching amplifier
The high quality circuitry of the BAE switching amplifier makes repeat accuracies of less than 50 µm possible under good conditions. This is ideal, for example, with web guides where changes in direction need to be monitored. (BAE00NE, BAE00PR, BAE00NF, BAE00PT, BAE00NL, BAE00NK)
BAE dynamic amplifiers
By using the light bands with dynamically switching amplifiers you can detect very small falling objects over the entire field of measurement. Even abrupt changes, such as when monitoring threads or wires, can be accurately depicted using our light bands. (BAE00NJ, BAE00N7)
