Lumen Hosts Cable and Facility Upgrade Event

On August 29th, Lumen hosted an exclusive event where the management team welcomed their main suppliers to showcase their newly automated cable system and facility upgrades.

Lumen has been installing the industry-leading technology at their Central Distribution Centre in Laval, QC. Their newest innovation aligns with Sonepar’s transformation vision and our ultimate goal of remaining, “La Référence” in our industry. The automated cable system will assist Lumen’s ability to respond to the growing demands of our customers while providing cuts with optimal precision.

Markham, Ontario, October 2, 2017 – Effective October 2, 2017, Turck has acquired the remaining 50% interest in Turck Chartwell Canada Inc. and thus is 100% owner of the new subsidiary. In January 2018, the Company name will become Turck Canada Inc. The automation specialist initially acquired the first 50% interest in its long term Canadian sales partner Chartwell Automation Inc. in 2014.
