Emerson has named Spartan Controls as the representative for Yarway Steam Traps in Western Canada, a product brand acquired from the Valves & Controls business unit of Pentair. In addition to the well-known Emerson brands that Spartan currently represents, such as Fisher, Bettis, Virgo, EIM, Enardo, Anderson Greenwood, Crosby, Keystone, Vanessa, Clarkson and Yarway valves, effective October 1, 2018, Spartan Controls will represent and support Yarway steam trap and strainer products.

Until today, across a wide range of industries, customers have been buying valves and valve services from many different providers which adds complexity and cost to their process. Now, industrial process operators, purchasers, and engineers in Western Canada can call one number for all valves & valve service needs, which includes control valves, isolation valves, pressure and safety relief valves, valve actuation, boiler level instrumentation and steam traps and strainers.

“We are very proud that Emerson has selected Spartan Controls as the representative for such an excellent line of products,” said Chris Brownlee, Manager, Valves & Actuation | Protection at Spartan Controls. “The Yarway Steam Trap products and steam trap surveys are yet another way in which we will be able to help our customers realize increased energy efficiencies and improved equipment reliability.”

Spartan’s relationship with Emerson as an Impact Partner balances local expertise with global leadership. Emerson is a world class-manufacturer of leading and innovative technical solutions. Spartan offers the local, human-powered network of application expertise and resources. Across North America, with fellow Impact Partners, or around the globe with Emerson, Spartan Controls strives to collaborate with customers to solve their toughest challenges.
