Macromatic Names New Regional Sales Manager for Canada

Rich Gibson has joined Macromatic as the new Regional Sales Manager for Canada. Rich will report to Tim Burns, Vice President – Sales and Marketing.

Rich has over 20 years’ experience in sales of industrial electrical equipment. Most recently he was Product Manager for machine safety at ABB.

Rich has extensive experience in territory development, distribution modeling and project management throughout North America. His duties resulted in managing businesses in Canada, USA, Mexico and throughout Europe and Asia.

Rich is proficient in solving problems in applications and control wiring. He will work with Macromatic sales representatives and distributors in his region to meet customers’ needs, as Macromatic continues to introduce new, innovative products to improve productivity and efficiency.

Rittal launches a Hygienic Design Campaign for the Food & Beverage industry

 

For Hygienic Design, Rittal has modified the design of its enclosures in a number of respects. For example, the attachment to the enclosure wall using threaded bolts and nuts has been designed so that the screw fastening is not visible from the outside. The enclosure is made from stainless steel with a brushed grain size of 400, producing a surface roughness average – Ra of less than 0.8 mm.
