Allied Electronics & Automation Names Ken Bradley President of Americas Region
April 6, 2020
Allied Electronics & Automation has officially appointed Ken Bradley as president of its Americas region, effective March 31, 2020. Bradley had previously served in the role in an interim capacity, beginning in September 2019.
“Quite simply, I have been blown away by the way in which Ken has risen to this role, setting a clear course and vision for the Americas,” said Lindsley Ruth, Allied’s global chief executive officer. “He has been both a strong and effective leader since taking the role in an interim capacity — ensuring Allied continues to serve our customers through the challenges of the recent global pandemic and uncertain economic conditions.”
Bradley joined the organization in March 2004, spending two years with RS Components and 14 years with Allied in positions encompassing sales, supply chain, and product & supplier management. Under his leadership, Allied continues its efforts to transform the research and buying experience for customers, announcing new leaders in its sales, marketing human resources and finance functions, and reaching significant milestones in the number of 360-degree product images and product datasheets available on its website as part of major enhancements to its digital customer experience.
In addition to digital and leadership enhancements, the company is expanding and adding significant new technology to its warehouse facility in Fort Worth, Texas. The improvement, expected to be completed by mid-2020 adds nearly 200,000 square feet and innovative warehouse automation robotics resulting in a distribution center of more than 500,000 square feet.
