Following the success of the very first Summit, Pepperl+Fuchs’ second online summit will take place from November 17 – 19. This free, fully digital event will offer customers and other interested parties a way to connect with industrial sensor and electrical explosion protection experts and learn about the latest solutions and trends in the fields of factory and process automation. For three exciting and informative days, we will address topics related to user-centered digitalization.

These topics include:

  •    –   Driving the IIoT Revolution – Challenges, Benefits and Simple Next Steps
  •    –   Digitalization in Service and Maintenance – Process Industry in Transition
  •    –   Next Level of Ultrasonic Technology – Intelligent, Functionally Safe and Autonomous

Participants will be able to access related keynotes, live shows, and panel discussions via a browser-based online platform. A digital networking lounge will give participants the opportunity to connect with attendees and experts from Pepperl+Fuchs and its partner companies. Other digital content, such as technical white papers, videos, and presentations, will be available for download. All content will be offered in English and will be presented twice a day so interested parties from around the world can participate. The sessions start each day at 10 a.m. EST and will run for a total of one hour and fifteen minutes.

DAY ONE

Driving the IIoT Revolution – Challenges, Benefits, and Simple Next Steps

This session will showcase a number of exciting practical examples that demonstrate the advantages of combining IT and OT and the potential this can offer. The following questions will be addressed:

Where once technicians used a clipboard and a pen, mobile devices are now the tools of choice. Experts from Pepperl+Fuchs and ecom will highlight fascinating solutions from the process industry and will provide insight into the future of smart maintenance. Topics will include:

DAY THREE

Convergix Automation Solutions has completed the acquisition of AGR Automation (“AGR”), a UK-based provider of custom, high-performance automation design and systems integration primarily to the life sciences industry.
