HPS Announces Addition of Senior Application Engineer

Hammond Power Solutions (HPS) was recently pleased to announce the appointment of Robert (Bob) Ellis as Senior Application Engineer, effective February 8th, 2021.

Bob has worked in the electrical industry for over 30 years, with leading firms in various Engineering and Project Management roles. He has a Bachelor of Science Degree in Engineering (Electrical) from the University of Waterloo. Bob will primarily work on supporting new HPS business in Power Quality products.

New LD-250 mobile robot from Omron moves payloads up to 250kg and helps expand the flexibility of autonomous materials transport

Global automation solutions pioneer Omron Automation Americas recently launched its latest addition to the LD Series of autonomous mobile robots. Known as the LD-250, this new robot carries payloads of up to 250kg and has a sturdy structure that is optimized for items like transmission blocks, automotive seats and voluminous packaging materials that are bulky as well as heavy.
