SNC-Lavalin has announced that it has, in consortium with TechnipFMC, been awarded a lump sum EPC contract to supply NOVA Chemicals with two gas cracking furnaces. Valmet has developed an innovative online solution for measuring lime mud moisture – Valmet Lime Mud Moisture Measurement. It can be used to monitor lime mud filter performance on the conveyor belt to improve lime mud quality. The new solution is also applicable as a feedforward measurement for lime kiln power control
