The Weidmüller Group has announced the acquisition of the W Interconnections group companies in the USA, Canada and Mexico from Rockwell Automation, Inc. effective 1 October 2017. The W Interconnections group sells products for Industrial Connectivity and Automation.

Modern’s Building Controls team upgraded the building automation system (BAS) at 250 Albert, replacing a legacy building automation system (BAS) with an advanced Distech Controls system. For Hygienic Design, Rittal has modified the design of its enclosures in a number of respects. For example, the attachment to the enclosure wall using threaded bolts and nuts has been designed so that the screw fastening is not visible from the outside. The enclosure is made from stainless steel with a brushed grain size of 400, producing a surface roughness average – Ra of less than 0.8 mm.
