Transients are extra voltages that are transferred or coupled onto a power circuit. There are many different sources of transients, including lightning electromagnetic pulses, switching electromagnetic pulses, and electrostatic discharge. In this episode of the Control Cabinet Classroom, we discuss this concept and what it means for electrical industry and infrastructure.
