FABTECH Canada, one of the country’s major metal forming, fabricating, welding and finishing event, is pleased to announce its return June 14-16, 2022, at the Toronto Congress Centre. Over three days, FABTECH Canada attendees will connect with world-class suppliers, see the latest industry products and developments, find the tools to improve productivity, and discover the newest manufacturing solutions.

“We recognize just how important the North American metal processing, forming and fabricating industries have been to the Canadian and American economies and are so excited to reunite the industry at FABTECH Canada after four long years,” said John Catalano, SME senior director, FABTECH. “More than ever before, our goal is to deliver a show that encourages collaboration and networking, equips manufacturing professionals with the latest technological advancements, and provides an immersive education platform to discover new techniques and trends that will improve productivity and the bottom line.”

FABTECH Canada’s 80,000 square foot show floor will give attendees access to over 200 exhibiting companies showcasing the latest innovations covering close to 40 technology focus areas, including, cutting, lasers, press brakes, robotics, and welding machines. Attendees will experience live, hands-on equipment demonstrations right on the show floor and connect with thousands of experts and peers during the event’s networking activities. “FABTECH Canada is a perfect learning experience for what’s new and upcoming in the market,” said Pedro Kroeker, projects manager at Weberlane. “It’s very informative—a lot of new machines, new technologies—making things faster and better.”

Christopher Gobbi of the University of Waterloo added, “I like the diversity from aspects like welding, forming, machining and everything in between. The variety is really good. [Our] industry can move quickly and coming to FABTECH Canada is a good way to see what’s coming in your area.”

This year, FABTECH Canada is partnering with the CWB Group, an industry-supported private sector organization providing welding certification, management systems registration and training services, to further provide connectivity and networking opportunities for Canada’s welding industry. The CWB Group will hold its CanWeld 2022 Conference in conjunction with FABTECH Canada on June 15-16. The goal for this year’s conference is to educate attendees on the latest welding technologies, and current issues affecting the welding industry.

With emerging manufacturing trends and the introduction of disruptive technologies in the metal fabricating industry, FABTECH Canada 2022 is designed to provide industry professionals with access to the information, technology and equipment needed to transform their businesses for future success. For conference and registration information, visit canada.fabtechexpo.com.
