Spartan Controls recently announced the continued partnership with Team Bottcher, one of Canada’s most exciting and talented teams on the Canadian and World Curling Tours.

The newly formed team of Brendan Bottcher (skip), Ben Hebert (lead), Brett Gallant (second), and Marc Kennedy (third) brings past world, national and Olympic champions together for the 2023-2026 Olympic run.

“Spartan has a long history of engaging with and supporting our local communities”, said Grant Wilde, President & CEO, Spartan Controls. “We are excited to continue our partnership with Team Bottcher and look forward to following their success.”

Brendan Bottcher is an Application Specialist at Spartan Controls and has had a prolific career capturing the Canadian Junior and World Junior titles in 2012. Team Bottcher also represented Canada at the 2013 Winter Universiade and Brendan was the nation’s flag bearer for the opening ceremonies in Trentino, Italy.

“Spartan Controls has been an outstanding sponsor and partner of Team Bottcher over the past Olympic quadrennial, the support and encouragement have allowed me to excel both in the office and on the ice,” said Bottcher. “The Spartan sponsorship has been integral in allowing me to chase my dreams – I am incredibly appreciative and grateful for all Spartans who offer support, words of encouragement, and the larger team who is behind us every time we step on the ice representing the Spartan brand of excellence & innovation.”

Team Bottcher have had many highlights on the ice over the Olympic quadrennial, including 3 Grand Slam victories, culminating in a 2021 Brier victory and representing Team Canada at the 2021 World Men’s Championship and 2022 Olympic Team Trials.
