Mersen Canada Receives Prestigious IMARK Award

Mersen Canada is pleased to announce its induction into IMARK Canada’s prestigious “Order of the Golden Maple Leaf” in 2022. Mersen has received this award every year since 2018.

This award program recognizes and rewards members and suppliers for their superior participation in IMARK Canada programs and utilization of IMARK resources. In 2022, Mersen Canada successfully met and exceeded requirements in activities and results in Sales Growth to IMARK Canada members, GainShare participation and Training activities on IMARK University.

EPLAN’s Data Portal now has 433 manufacturers and more than 1,420,000 data sets that are available with the recent update on March 10, 2023. Companies with updated and new data sets include Balluff GmbH with 135 new and 10 updated data sets for cables, field distribution devices, sensors, switches and pushbuttons, PLCs and plugs, as well as Weidmuller Group with 8 new and 196 updated data sets for terminals.

When the mountain calls – Innovative control system for ski lifts with operating and control solution from Siemens

Tscharner Technik (Tscharner) equips cable cars and ski lifts with control systems, combining their own software developed in-house with failsafe controllers from Siemens. As part of the software advancement, the visualization has been updated. The first project that uses the new solution includes two single ski lifts and one double ski lift in the Rosswald near Brig ski resort. The new control system impresses with its intuitive handling and clear display.

Convergix Automation Solutions has completed the acquisition of AGR Automation (“AGR”), a UK-based provider of custom, high-performance automation design and systems integration primarily to the life sciences industry.
