Corix Water Products and Badger Meter have entered into an agreement, making Corix Water Products the exclusive distribution partner for Badger Meter’s water utility products and solutions across the majority of Canada.

Corix Water Products currently has two projects with Badger Meter underway, which it won as a supply and install partner. The first is a meter replacement program for the City of Weyburn in Saskatchewan, where an automated meter reading network system will be installed for more than 3,900 residences and businesses. The second is a water meter maintenance program for the City of Surrey in British Columbia, which includes the supply and installation of replacement meters and new residential meters.

“Badger Meter brings a track record of innovation and an expansive range of high-quality products and solutions,” said Tony Codispoti, Vice President and COO, Corix Utility Products Canada. “This exciting partnership will bring tremendous value to our customers, and working together with Badger will allow us to provide the latest technical advancements for water meters and data analytics as part of the solutions and expertise they’ve come to expect from Corix.”

This announcement creates another milestone in a growing partnership between Corix and Badger Meter. Corix Control Solutions, which supplies products to the oil, gas, industrial and municipal markets, currently has a multi-decade agreement with Badger Meter as one of its distributors for Research Control® Valves and the Preso® meter line.

“This expanded partnership with Corix Water Products is the perfect addition to our industry leading utility metering distribution network,” commented Kimberly Stoll, Vice President – Sales & Marketing. “Corix’s highly responsive, customer-first approach and Badger Meter’s end-to-end water metering solutions are a winning combination for water utilities across the nine Canadian provinces and three territories.”

With 36 branches across Canada, Corix Water Products supplies leading water and wastewater solutions, including metering systems, supply, and installations with a focus on responsive customer service.
