Omron Whitepaper – MVRC: Mark, Verify, Read and Communicate

When it comes to protecting electrical components from harsh environments, NEMA 3R enclosures are a game-changer. These rugged enclosures are designed to shield equipment from rain, sleet, and external ice formation, ensuring reliable performance even in challenging conditions. NEMA 3R is a rating by the National Electrical Manufacturers Association (NEMA) that defines an enclosure’s ability to protect internal components. These enclosures provide protection against rain, sleet, and external ice formation. They are suitable for both indoor and outdoor use.
PECM (Pulsed Electrochemical Machining) is a fast corrosion process that can form complicated geometries atom by atom. It is therefore ideal for the precise manufacturing of metal parts for high-tech applications. To integrate the core process into a fully automated, high-throughput production line, Voxel Innovations and Palmetto Mechatronics relied on the open PC-based control technology from Beckhoff.

Multi-Tasking adds efficiency to every aspect of manufacturing production. Because it enables start-to-finish production of parts that require a multi-axis approach to multiple processes, it cuts production lead times and part costs by eliminating, in many cases, the need for multiple clampings and multiple machines. That same single-setup ease and convenience also increases machining accuracy and part quality because parts stay on one machine rather than moving from one machine to the next involving numerous part setups.
As technologies advance, it is critical to understand how machines and people will work together in a safe and compliant environment. At the same time, you must ensure your processes are optimized and they keep up with the evolving standards.
