February 25, 2020
JMP Solutions, an independent robotic systems integrator, recently announced that their very own, Ken McLaughlin has been elected to the RIA Board of Directors to represent the System Integrator Category. The RIA Certified Robotic Integrator program was established in 2012 in response to an industry need for a benchmark to evaluate technical and robotics safety acumen, as well as overall system integrator business excellence.
“We are thrilled to be among the top certified robotic system integrators in the industry. Additionally, this role as a member of the board of directors gives JMP direct and influential access to the RIA process and helps to keep us at the forefront of technology developments, certifications and industry standards. In the end, being a participating member of the RIA allows us to deliver a higher-level overall customer experience”, said Ken McLaughlin, Director of Operations of JMP’s Automation & Robotics Division.
JMP’s robotic solutions include a wide range of applications across the Food & Beverage and Consumer Packaged Goods segments, as well as customized robotic innovations to solve ergonomically challenging tasks in the Oil & Gas, Automotive and Manufacturing industries.
The RIA Board Executive Committee in 2020 includes the following industry leaders:
- – Chair – Matt Wicks, Honeywell Intelligrated;
• Past Chair – Joe Gemma, Calvary Robotics;
• First Vice-Chair – Milton Guerry, SCHUNK;
• Second Vice Chair – Lou Finazzo, FANUC America Corporation;
• Secretary – Jon Battles, Amazon.com;
• RIA President – Jeff Burnstein
RIA ensures that robotics integrators who have successfully completed the program possess the capabilities at a very high level to deliver robotic products, systems and services that are safe, reliable, and of good quality. Robot integrators must achieve a high level of proficiency, experience and success to be considered for the certification program and must re-certify every two years. JMP is proud to be one of only 29 system integrators to have achieved this certification since 2012.
