It is not always possible to have a technician on site so we will explore how you can connect to a machine over the internet to do code changes. We will also explore limiting access to make sure that only the correct people can get into the machine. 

Making Cookie Cutter Machines – NAT

In this session we will investigate Network Address Translation (NAT) and the benefits this brings. We will do a real demo and then add in some security. It will cover some basic concepts of IP configuration on an IP based network.

April 15, 2020 (Duration 1 hr) 

As network infrastructure gets increasingly complicated we will look at ways to manage the flow of traffic. There will be some examples of managed and unmanaged switches as well as simple ways of troubleshooting complex networks.

JMP Parent Company, CONVERGIX Acquires AGR Automation, Expanding Global Reach

Convergix Automation Solutions has completed the acquisition of AGR Automation (“AGR”), a UK-based provider of custom, high-performance automation design and systems integration primarily to the life sciences industry.

Following Convergix’s acquisitions of JMP Solutions in August 2021 and Classic Design in February 2022, AGR marks the third investment in Crestview’s strategy to build Convergix into a diversified automation solutions provider targeting the global $500+ billion market, with a particular focus on the $70 billion global systems integration and connectivity segments. Financial terms of the transaction were not disclosed.
