Challenge:

MPS is most intent on upholding their reputation of becoming their customers’ go-to resource during the most crucial phases of their requirements. As a manufacturer, their reliability and integrity are pivotal in an industry where demands must be addressed swiftly and effectively.

“Ever since the pandemic in 2020, delivery times of critical power system equipment have been increasing not by months but by years. Because of this, prices have risen dramatically as well. Among the highest priority items are circuit breakers and large power transformers”. – WAPA Report

MPS was executing a prestigious project for a renewable energy customer, and time was of the essence in the execution and delivery. They were facing supply chain issues and looking around for a timely and efficient solution. MPS reached out to NOARK Electric, a premium brand for medium and low voltage electrical components for industrial applications, in countries requiring external certifications, renowned for its exceptional delivery times and excellent products.

NOARK Electric, wholly-owned subsidiary of one of the largest electrical manufacturing groups in Asia, has earned a reputation of exemplary service to respective markets, due to their North American Mod Centers and Warehouses in California, USA and Ontario, Canada, apart from their global coverage.

Solution:

NOARK Electric rose to the occasion and were able to source Meta Power Solutions with quick reliable deliveries on eight ACBs (A25/A332/A40) and 186 MCCBs (M1-M6 plus the 800VAC breakers (M2HV/M3HV).

Doug Luckett, Southeast Regional Sales Manager, NOARK Electric said, “When Meta Power Solutions reached out to us, our team was pleased to work together to provide them with the end-to-end service that they needed. We studied the project and were able to provide them with ideal Circuit protection products, that adhere to the industry standards, designed to meet or exceed all quality standards, so that we can help our clients protect their electrical grids from power disruptions and downtime.”

NOARK’s Power/Air Circuit Breakers

NOARK Electric’s Power Circuit Breakers are available in three series:

  • – A32 series: available up to 3200A, with IC ratings of 100kA at 635V
  • – A25 series: available up to 2500A, with IC ratings of 85kA at 847V

All products are UL Listed and CSA Certified, providing design standardization for OEMs regardless of location. There are a variety of trip units, accessories, and communications options available for the families.

NOARK’s Molded Case Circuit Breakers

Molded case circuit breakers (MCCBs) are the circuit protection backbone of electrical power distribution systems in residential, commercial and industrial settings. They offer protection for circuits from 15 through several thousand amps and are conveniently re-settable for maximum uptime. MCCBs protect electrical systems from overloads and short circuits, ensuring safety and preventing damage to the equipment.

A NOARK’s MCCB is suitable for a variety of applications, by machinery manufacturers, control panel fabricators and power distribution OEMs. NOARK’s Molded Case Circuit Breakers are designed to withstand a wide temperature range from -40 to +70 degrees C so they can perform reliably even in demanding applications.
