AS-B perform functionality, such as control logic, trend logging, and alarm supervision, provides builtin I/O, and supports communication and connectivity to the field buses. The distributed intelligence of the EcoStruxure Building ensures fault tolerance in the system and provides a fully featured user interface through WorkStation and Webstation.

This forces operators to keep their hands on the two-hand control actuator and out of harm’s way. New IDEM products include a control station with momentary pushbuttons, a control station with zero-force touch buttons, and an empty two-hand control station enclosure for custom configurations. Enclosures are made of die-cast aluminum; replacement buttons are available.

Convergix Automation Solutions has completed the acquisition of AGR Automation (“AGR”), a UK-based provider of custom, high-performance automation design and systems integration primarily to the life sciences industry.
