New Translucent PUN-H Tubing from Festo

Mississauga, ON, February 2018 – Festo has introduced a translucent version of the company’s PUN-H tubing, which provides a tough, long-lasting solution for standard applications involving compressed air, vacuum and many uses of water.

The new translucent version makes it easy to detect build-ups of particles, moisture or oil in the tubing that could lead to potential faults or hazards. All PUN-H tubing is made of food grade, FDA-listed polyurethane and typically paired with QS-type push-in fittings for optimal, trouble-free operations, particularly in humid conditions.

Connecting and releasing is made really simple with the push-in QS fittings, which use the proven sealing and release principle. For food zones, Festo also recommends PUN-H pairings with its nickel-plated brass NPQH or 100% polymer-based NPKA fittings, depending on the application. This attractively priced standard tubing is easy to install, resists kinking and is highly resistant to hydrolysis and microbes. This tubing in translucent black is UV resistant and suitable for outdoor use.

All versions can be used in environments with high moisture levels or in contact with water up to 50ºC and are suitable for energy chains. Both the opaque and translucent versions of PUN-H tubing are available in several popular diameters and colours, some of which are included in Festo’s core product line-up, meaning they can be ordered online and are always in stock for fast, even overnight delivery.
