Phoenix Contact has added compact AC/DC power supplies ranging from 30 to 100 W to the premium QUINT POWER family. With these new low wattage additions, control engineers can select a more precise power supply for their low-power applications, while still getting advanced QUINT POWER features, such as preventative monitoring and power reserve.

All of the new low wattage additions feature QUINT POWER’s power boost of up to 200 percent the nominal current. This allows inductive loads to start without disrupting the output voltage. The power boost provides additional power to an application, which eliminates the need to install an oversized power supply. The new QUINT POWER low wattage additions are the first small power supplies with configurable alarming.
