The protocol Safety-over-EtherCAT (FSoE) was defined in order to implement secure data transfer for EtherCAT. FSoE enables the transfer of safety-related and non-safety-related information in the EtherCAT communication system. As a result, FSoE is suitable for safety applications up to SIL 3 in accordance with IEC 61508. The safe small controller PNOZmulti 2 is easy to configure as FSoE Master from Version 11.3 of the software tool PNOZmulti Configurator.
With the new PTCB single-channel circuit breakers from Phoenix Contact, loads with a supply voltage of 48 V DC are now also electronically protected. The device protection can be combined with the Clipline terminal block portfolio. The circuit breakers can be quickly and easily integrated into the potential distribution and interconnected using standard terminal block accessories. The 6.2 mm overall width matches the terminal block portfolio and saves important space on the DIN rail. The circuit breaker is available with a fixed nominal value of 2 A or with adjustable nominal current ranging from 1 to 6 A. This allows the nominal current to be flexibly adapted to the application and reduces storage costs.
Food industry players who want to shorten set-up times and production stoppages can do so by using connectors. As a result, HARTING developed the Han F+B series.

Advanced Motion Controls is proud to announce the addition of six new CANopen servo drives with Extended Environment capabilities to their FlexPro line. These new drives join AMC’s existing EtherCAT Extended Environment FlexPro drives, making the FlexPro line the go-to solution for motion control applications in harsh environments.
Many motion control applications take place in conditions that are less than ideal, such as extreme temperatures, high and low pressures, shocks and vibrations, and contamination. Electronics, including servo drives, can malfunction or sustain permanent damage in these conditions.
