B&R Automation: Automation PC 3100 Mobile

B&R has added a full-scale PC for mobile machinery to its portfolio. The powerful PC for mobile machinery is equipped with an Intel Core i processor and offers IP69K protection for deployment in harsh environments. Its high performance makes it optimally suited for smart machines that communicate with each other, process data and send it to the cloud.

Powerful PC

The PC for mobile machinery features a 7th-generation Core i processor from Intel. Its performance can be scaled from a 2.2 GHz Celeron processor to a 2.8 GHz Core i7. It offers up to 16 GB RAM and 480 GB of flash memory, and can be expanded modularly with optional functions.

Edge computing

With APROL, B&R offers a tool for implementing PC-based tasks like predictive maintenance, big data analytics for machine optimization or security gateways.

Option boards

Option boards for the APC mobile add interfaces for connecting external I/Os like CAN or POWERLINK. Expansion options can also be used to connect external displays.

Real-time control

Automation Runtime embedded turns the APC mobile into a high-performance real-time capable controller. B&R Hypervisor makes it possible to run multiple operating systems in parallel on the same controller.
