Hammond Introduces New Type 1 Mild Steel Enclosure

Hammond’s new Type 1 Mild Steel Metering Cabinets – UG Style CMCUG Series is designed for housing of metering transformers in underground situations. Enclosure construction consists of formed and spot welded 14- or 16-gauge steel, with formed edges and offered in single and double door versions. Additionally, it has hinged covers – single door with hasp closure, double door with hasp and quarter turn closure. Enclosure and cover are finished in ANSI 61 gray inside and out.
