Explore IBOCO’s DIN Rail Series Offerings
Discover IBOCO DIN Rail series, an extensive metal mounting rail range available within the marketplace, notably used for mounting terminal blocks, power supplies, relays, control and distribution devices on walls and other flat surfaces, for applications inside enclosures.
Benefits
DIN rails are designed to allow you to smoothly and safely mount your electrical equipment faster than mounting individual electrical components. This saves on installation time during repairs, and even reduces costs associated with purchasing new hardware. By simplifying your wiring system, you can enjoy a more organized wiring design that is easier to maintain that traditional wiring structures in which components are installed individually.
Because DIN rails use universal sizing and mounting protocols, these rails are easy to configure when installing or removing components. The compact, space-saving design frees up workplace space and eliminates unnecessary tangling.
Applications
IBOCO rails are cost-effective brackets used for easily installing or removing terminal blocks and bringing internal and external wiring circuits together and are popular for use in industrial electrical applications in various industries, including energy management, telecommunications and heating and air conditioning controls. Specific rail applications include but are not limited to:
- Terminal blocks
- Relays
- Power Supplies
- Actuators
- Solenoids
- Motor Controllers
Material
All IBOCO rail is made of metal and has received a special treatment of galvanic zinc plating and passivation (gal Zn 8c according to DIN 50960) and RoHS compliant. It is also certified EN60715 and EN50022.
IBOCO rail standard length is 2 meters (6′ 6 3/4″), but 1 meter rail is also available (part number ends with 1 in IBOCO catalog). Minimum thickness is 6 microns, and rail is available either perforated or unperforated. The unperforated mounting rails (G1/Omega 3, 3A, 3B) have a center line in order to expedite the drilling of mounting holes.
