ITC Expands DETASUltra Cable Entry Systems Offerings

The DES (Detas Entry System) solution is designed to simplify the use of cables in electrical equipment, improving watertightness, strain relief and EMC, whilst minimizing costs. DES has been designed, developed and patented in Italy, thanks to their technical skills in the thermoplastic industry and production equipment.

DetasUltra’s DES Cable Entry Systems are an excellent alternative to the traditional cable glands, requiring fewer holes to be punched, in addition to easier installation, and allowing for pre-terminated cables. DetasUltra’s offerings also include Strain relief modules, EMC shielding (clamps and brackets).

These systems include cable passing frames, split gland frames, split grommets and cable passing plates.

A few of the new products included are:

  • Split locknuts
  • Round entry plates for single or multiple cables
  • Round entry plates with double membranes
  • Hygienic frames and glands
  • Wide range of new grommets
