Amphenol LTW Ultra High-Density (UHD) Push Lock Connectors feature an IP68 rating and blind mating with audible and tactile feedback. These high-performance connectors offer up to 33 contacts and are an alternative solution to M12. The UHD push lock connectors feature a compact design and high contact density, providing space efficiency and enhanced data transmission. These connectors have a current rating of 0.5A, a voltage rating of 30V, and operate within the -40°C to 105°C temperature range. Typical applications include automation systems, sensor arrangements, industrial cameras, medical equipment, and measurement and control technology.

The newest additions to Balluff’s line of distance sensors feature selectable modes that allow users to choose between IO-Link, voltage (0…10 V or 1…10 V), or analog (4…20 mA) outputs. The two new variations — the BOD002M with a 50 to 100 mm working distance and a resolution down to 10 μm, and the BOD002N with a 50 to 650 mm working distance and a resolution down to 100 μm — combine the output modes of three previous models into one.

Now the Cobots Are Slimming Down, Too

The Japanese electronic and machine manufacturing company Fanuc introduced its lightweight cobot at the International Robot Exhibition (iREX) in Tokyo. The new CRX-10iA weighs significantly less than Fanuc’s CR series, where the lightest model was 48kg. The manufacturer did not specify the exact weight of the new generation of cobots. According to Fanuc, the new, lighter industrial robots can be used as handling units for driverless transport systems , amongst other uses.
