AutomationDirect has expanded their safety products line with additional Comepi safety switches. This offering includes new, more robust solenoid locking tongue interlock safety switches and RFID-coded solenoid locking tongue interlock safety switches. All switches have a 1200N holding force and require the solenoid to be energized to unlock the switch. The RFID-coded models are uniquely coded for additional tamper resistance.
AutomationDirect has added LUTZE SUPERFLEX control cable that is well suited for short to medium length articulated drag chain (C-tracks) installations requiring moderate to high performance. The High Glide TPE insulation and PVC outer jacket provides resistance to sunlight, oil, and moisture penetration, and makes this cable suitable for indoor wet and dry applications or outdoor installations. Cables are available with conductors in 21 AWG to 12 AWG sizes, with up to 34 conductors including ground, and is made in the USA.
The modular industrial robot system ATRO (Automation Technology for Robotics) from Beckhoff was first presented to the public in 2022. Fast-forward to today, and more link modules are now being added to increase the flexibility of the ATRO system even further, including in the form of multi-arm robots. The standardized ATRO motor modules with integrated drive functionality are combined with link modules in different geometries, offering users the flexibility to set up a variety of robot kinematics.
The Multi Physics Box Condition Monitoring sensor allows for continuous condition-based monitoring of, for example, motors, pumps, conveyor systems or fans. It measures vibrations, shocks, and temperature, thereby providing indications of potential faults and machine failures. If the measured values exceed the individually configurable thresholds, an alert is output. For vibration values, the vibration monitoring thresholds for machines according to ISO 10816-3 can be implemented via a multi-stage alert.
MICO Fuse is an ideal alternative to using individual safety terminals. The compact module features eight sockets for glass tube fuses that can easily be serviced from the front of the module. It protects up to eight channels. The MICO FUSE 24 LED version has additional LEDs that indicate the operating condition of each channel in red and green. A group alarm contact sends the current status to the control. The universal module MICO Fuse 250 covers the complete range from 0 to 250 V AC/DC.
