Siemens is expanding its modular Sitop PSU8600 power supply system to include a new single-phase 480-watt basic unit. The new product features four integrated monitored outputs with a total of 24 volts DC at five amperes per output. Each output is flexible and can be set during operation in a range between 4 and 28 volts either manually or remotely via software. This eliminates the need for additional power supply units to supply five or twelve volt loads.
TE Connectivity (TE) recently announced its new PCON terminals. Leveraging TE’s extensive connector terminal expertise, these high-power terminals combine high current capability with a smart and robust design for high vibration resistance. “PCON high-power terminals are specifically designed to support the increased connectivity requirements in high-voltage interconnection systems of hybrid and all-electric vehicles,” said Gautham Kadhirvel, product manager, TE Connectivity.
The new 1455F flanged extruded aluminium enclosures from Hammond Manufacturing add a further variant to the popular 1455 standard family. The 1455F features a completely new extrusion that features a flat base with integral mounting flanges. The flanges, which extend beyond the body of the unit, have four notches to accept securing screws for mounting the units to a flat surface such as a wall, bulkhead or machine.
